Hailing from the Colombo–Gampaha region, he has been a distinguished figure in Sri Lankan biology education, leaving a lasting legacy over the past twenty-seven years since 1998. With exceptional talent and unwavering dedication, he has shaped the lives of thousands of students, professors, and professionals. He holds an Honours Degree in Microbiology from the University of Kelaniya (1996) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Psychology and Counseling from the Institute of Psychology, Colombo. Over the years, he has become a beloved biology teacher to thousands of young minds.
